So I find myself talking about this from time to time and then I fell upon the Cash Flow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki which pretty much explains and confirms my thoughts, reasoning, and actions for the past couple of months.
It sucks to live a life where your Time = Money. I will NEVER work a 9 -5 or own another 9 to 5 again.
I have stepped into the right side of the Cash Flow Quadrant where people and my money works for me…and trust me it feels good goods. On this journey, I have failed many times and I know that there are more failures to overcome.
But Like Les Brown (One of the greatest motivational speakers of all time) says…”If you have never failed at anything, then you have never reached for a big enough goal. If you only choose goals that are safe, familiar and right, you’ll never stretch far enough to know who you really can become or what you are capable of doing.”
I remember watching a speech with Les Brown once and he asked the question, “How many of you know within yourself that if you ask yourself the question – “Have I done all that I am capable of doing or being or lived up to my potential? – how many of you have to answer: ‘no I have not done all that I can do’”? To my surprise, the entire audience responded by raising their hand.
In another speech, Les Brown asked the question, “How many of you – if you have your life to live over again – you believe you would do more”, again the entire crowd responded by raising their hands.
And I mentioned this because as humans we tend to settle for less, take the safe road and avoid risks.
Today I decided to go for my dreams…I’m going to achieve all the things that I have ever wanted…that car..that house…that lifestyle.
I have spent hours, days, weeks, months, years wondering why some people can be successful and live such luxurious lives yet still so many of us remain poor…what’s the difference…what do they have that we don’t? I discovered the answer to this a few months ago and it turns out that it’s even simpler than I thought. Here is the reason: P.O.O.R. means Passing over opportunities repeatedly, and thoughts become things (The Law of Attraction).
“Before success comes in any man’s life, he’s sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures”. – Napolean Hill
Can I tell you that life has no limitations except the ones you make? Many people fail in life not because they aim too high and miss but because they aim to low and HIT! Les Brown encourages that success is never-ending. Many of us remain in our comfort zone and say we don’t want to be rich, we just want to be comfortable…but I’ve come to learn that the only way to be comfortable is to be rich!
I encourage you today to start taking risks to make your dreams a reality. When you have a big enough dream then you realize that the achievement of your dreams is worth way more than the comfort or security of never taking a risk to make them a reality.
The risk I took yesterday is starting to pay off for today and tomorrow.
If you are unsure of how to transition from the JOB (Just Over Broke) lifestyle…from the Left side of the Cash Flow Quadrant to the Right…from a life of linear income to a life of residual income then subscribe to my newsletter or send me a message via my contact page or using contact information here – I will send you a free report with my strategies and suggestions on how you can have an easier transition to start living a more successful life with more fun freedom and fulfilment.
Achieving your goals and dreams is never easy…in fact its hard work and a matter of a fact you might fail many times during the process..but you know what, its worth it. The best things in life are never easy but you must be prepared to make the sacrifices that others don’t in order to achieve the things that others won’t!
